Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
- Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement network security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Document network configurations and changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support network-related projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Local to DC Metro Area
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, including implementing and managing complex networks
- Proven experience with routers, switches and firewalls
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
